Textile Lab

Availability of Machines and Devices

From time to time, certain machines and equipment may not be available for use due to renovations, expansions, maintenance, repairs or other similar reasons. This may be because they are out of order or require initial commissioning. If you require the use of specific equipment for your project, we ask that you contact the relevant contacts by email or telephone in advance to ensure availability.

Our Textile Lab offers you both manual and digital equipment to create or process different types of textiles. For example, you can have patterns embroidered automatically, cut foils and press them onto fabrics, or even have our Kniterate knit for you. The sewing machine and coverlock can also be used to perform classic sewing work for various applications.

Who is the contact for the Textile Lab?

"I'm Elena and I'm responsible for the Textile Lab and the Kitchen Lab. As a designer, I am available to advise you on your projects and help you to think outside the box in the process.

My design focus is mainly on the conception and creation of experimental objects, mostly linked with textile techniques. Thanks to my industrial design studies I am familiar with different materials and approaches in the design process. I also feel at home in graphic design due to my bachelor's degree in communication design, and I provide support in the area of public relations."
